Making the video about Fruix Storage

Making a video was a bit of a daunting task for us but we were encouraged to make a film about the business by our website designer, Jon Exton from Social Ant, who advised it would be a worthwhile way to give potential customers an insight into Fruix Storage on the new website.

We were nervous for a variety of reasons, we weren’t sure we had enough to say, we are in the middle of a building project and we’ve not presented in front of a camera before but we shouldn’t have been worried as Grant MacDonald who worked with us to produce the video made the process straightforward and put Andrew at ease when he was narrating.

It was a cold winters day in January when we filmed the video but Grant has showcased the garages and commercial units very well making it easy to see the high quality of the storage units that are available to let.

A fly past of the long row of containers is a good way to see that we have a good choice of these for storage and Andrew is filmed doing a wee demonstration of how easy it is to open and close them.

Finally Grant sent up his drone to film from above which makes it clear to see how close the site is to the M90 motorway, just south of Kinross, which is a major reason that our customers choose us.

Andrew Traub from Fabby Furniture has been a tenant here for nearly three years, renting a workshop, garage and a container too. Andrew and his team carry out amazing transformations to produce high quality painted furniture and it turns out he was also a natural in front of the camera as can be viewed in his testimonial in the middle of the video.

The whole process ended up being fun and we hope the two-minute film gives people a behind the scenes look at what we do.

We’d like to thank Grant MacDonald from Grant MacDonald Media for all his help and hope to produce a follow up once we’ve finished our renovations and have more storage to showcase.

The finished film is now embedded in our site, it plays automatically when you visit the home page and it’s also on Facebook too.
